Henry VIII invites all to come and join in the special celebration at Hever Castle when Sir Samuel of Hever is knighted.
The ceremony marks the start of the annual jousting tournament. Spectators will be treated to a display of action, stunts, falls and fights bringing the medieval sport to life.
Each tournament starts when the King and Queen arrive at the castle at 2pm.

#2 Remember
THE Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will pass over Capel-le-Ferne to mark the anniversary of the historic combat.
Both a Spitfire and a Hurricane will fly over the Kent coast to salute the 72nd anniversary of the battle as the nation pays its respects to the- almost 3,000 airmen who took to the sky to end Nazi invasion plans in the summer of 1940.

It’s that time of year again when the best of Kent’s arena displays, mouthwatering food, prize-winning livestock and fancy flowers come together for the county show.

International cricket comes to Canterbury this weekend as Kent take on South Africa in a three day match at the St Lawrence Ground.
