The little boy, who suffered head injuries, was rushed to a London hospital for treatment.

He is still in hospital, but making a good recovery and his condition is improving, police said.

PC Dave Lamberth, who investigating the incident, said: “I would like to speak to the driver of an orange vehicle that was parked on the school side of the road around the time the incident happened as he or she may have additional information that would help the investigation.
