Tunbridge Wells claimed a crucial win last weekend

A rejuvenated Tunbridge Wells side host neighbours Heathfield & Waldron for the first ever competitive game between the two sides at St Marks this Saturday.
The strugglers are buoyant after ending a four-game losing streak by beating Old Mid-Whitgiftians 27-3 last week.
Although the two clubs are only 15 miles apart, they had never met in a competitive game until earlier this season, when the Wells prevailed 7-5.
If Tunbridge Wells are historically a bigger club, it does not allow room for complacency.
Roger Clarke, Tunbridge Wells’ chairman, said: “When we played them in October if they hadn’t missed a kick that was pretty much in front of goal we’d have lost.
“But we’re a completely different side now. If we’d had this side all season we probably wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in.”
Tunbridge Wells are 10th in London 2 South East, one place and two points above the relegation zone and four points behind Heathfield.
Mark Wilson will replace Tom Claridge, while Alex Threlfall covers for the injured Paul Miles at hooker.
Talented young players Ben Madgwick and Rory Reames are both on the bench after impressing last week.
